What are some good weight loss foods/snacks?
I'm a college student so I don't have access to much more than a basic refrigerator no freezer and microwave. I'm trying to keep up a healthy diet and exercise to lose weight, usually my meals consist of protein shakes, salads, cereal, some fruit most oranges . I wanted to go shopping today so I can avoid the fairly unhealthy food at my dining hall but I'm not really sure what I should buy.I want some easy to prepare meals snacks that don't need more than basic refrigeration for storage and don't need to be cooked or can just be microwaved .Anyone have some ideas for me? Right now my list only consists of Oranges Cheerios YogurtOh also I have this rice cooker thing which is basically a bowl on a hotplate where I can boil water for noodles. I was under the impression that noodles contain too much sodium and are usually not good, but if someone knows of healthy types let me know.

I play tennis everyday and its a good workout, i do it sometimes twice aday and i defiantly work up a sweat. I need to start eating foods that will help me lose weight, any suggestions? and i also drink powerade after i play. Is that bad?

I am not on a strict diet, I am just trying to have a lifestyle change and eat healthier and more balanced meals and exercise more. Does anyone know and good meals that are well balanced? breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it doesn't matter, or even a light afternoon snack Low calorie, low fat, and low carb meals would be awesome, because that is what I am trying to focus on.Also,if you have any other suggestions or anything else that would be good to do for weight loss, such as a workout routine that has worked out for you, I would love to hear about it.Thanks

my goal is to lose about 5 kilos. i only weigh 54kg but i want to be back down to what i was before i became chronically ill and had to stop work and fitness etc.. i honestly dont eat very much at all, i usually only eat 2 meals a day and they are fairly healthy eg eggs, vegetables, yogurt, chicken, sushi, tuna however my downfall is that i love to snack. i am addicted to chips and chocolate. not because of the taste, but mainly because i get bored and just want to taste something. i will always be a snacker, i could literally give up meals and just snack the whole day. i dont often eat large amounts of anything and usually never finish a meal and always eat the rest the next day. my question is, what are some great alternative snack foods i could try? and exactly how much snacking should i be doing? im still unable to exercise alot due to my condition so it really comes down to what i eat if i want to lose weight. thanks for any tips

Super picky....healthy weight loss foods?
I am trying to change my eating habits to lose weight, but the problem is that i'm SO PICKY. I try to force myself to eat certain things but i actually get sick. I've been this way every since I was little. I get so cranky because I am hungry but there is nothing to eat. Can anyone recommend good lunch dinner meals? Can be recipes or store bought meals. Things I like Chicken, turkey, carrots, peppers, potatoes, all fruits, cheese, rice, anything spicy, I really like chinese foodthings i DO NOT fish, hamburger meat, eggs, spinach, beans, asparagus, prob. missing a lot thanks

Weight loss/Food/Workout Questions and Concerns?
Please only answer if you know what you're talking about. I'm a 5'3, 30 year old female. I had been in really good shape about a year ago I worked about 1.5 every day on my Weslo 610 Elliptical, ate around 800 calories during the week, ate whatever I wanted on the weekends but also increased by workouts to around 2.5 hours. I felt good, looked pretty good. After a bad break up w a cheating fiancee I got severly depressed & started eating everything in sight, and stopped working out completely. As a result, I gained about 30 pounds. A few months ago, I realized how horrible I looked and cared enough to want to change it so went to work on losing the weight. I've lost it but and this is the part that's alarming me I actually thought I'd weigh less. And here's why the weslo broke, so I've been using a Gold's Gym StrideTrainer which seems to give a much different workout and I've been on it for 2.5 3 hrs. a day, going thru it's 6 different programs. I'm eating around 600 calories a day. So I'm exercising more and eating less and sticking to this even on the weekends no having a " free day" or two like before. Yet I weighed a few pounds less before, even with exercising a bit less and eating more on the weekends. I thought I'd have a little leeway room so I could ease up a little and maybe go back to eating a little more indulgently on the weekends, but I've worked out this hard and am barely making my weight loss goal and would prefer to be a couple pounds less actually. Why is this happening? Please help.I ate 800 calories and worked out 1.5 hrs a day for over 4 yrs. I wouldn't be having this issue if I hadn't gained the weight I had, which is admittedly entirely my fault. I'm really looking for causes and solutions for my current issue.
Is sushi a good weight loss food ?
If I were to eat a regular diet of the following sushiwaterteawhite ricemilkwould I lose weight ? If that was the only thing my diet was ,, nothing else ? For example ,, one day it migt be breakfast 1 cup of milklunch sushidinner 1 2 cup of white rice plain w tea would I lose wigt ? Plus I would walk usually 3 miles a week and do occasional walks?

Weight loss / food question?
I've been working out for the past 2 weeks i workout 2 and the half hours a day 5 days a week I'm 5'6.5 i weighed 153 pounds at the start now I weight 147. Usually after a workout i feel hungry and pig out on healthy fruits. I got done with my workout today and was extremely hungry so i made a salad. After about 4 or 5 bites i was full. I'm suppose to eat about 1300 calories a day but I'm always so full i barely brush a 1000 calories a day. Any suggestions on why I got full so fast? If it matters, I drink about 2 litters of water during my workouts everyday might that affect my appetite?
